Multi-Agency Patch Walk – Belgrave Community Update
Multi‑Agency Patch Walk – Belgrave Community Update
As part of continued partnership working, Neighbourhood Officers from the Belgrave Beat Team recently completed a multi‑agency patch walk alongside Leicester City Council Park Ranger Andy 🪴🚶♂️.
The purpose of the patrol was to engage with the local environment, identify any concerns within public spaces, and take a coordinated approach to improving the area. Working collaboratively allows different services to share knowledge, respond effectively, and ensure that local issues are addressed promptly.
👀 What We Looked At
During the walk, partners focused on a range of areas, including:
✅ Maintenance and cleanliness of parks and green spaces 🌳
✅ Identifying anti‑social behaviour hotspots
✅ Environmental concerns and areas needing improvement
✅ General community safety and reassurance
🤝 Partnership in Action
Multi‑agency patrols play a vital role in delivering a joined‑up response to community concerns. By working closely with Leicester City Council, the Belgrave Neighbourhood Team can:
Share information effectively
Take immediate action where required
Plan longer‑term solutions for ongoing issues
🏘️ Supporting the Community
Being out on foot also provided an opportunity to speak with residents and park users 💬, listen to feedback, and ensure that local voices continue to shape the work being carried out.
The Belgrave Neighbourhood Team remains committed to working with partners to maintain safe, clean, and welcoming public spaces for everyone who lives in and visits the area ✅.
